Their unmatched drive to accept any challenge and the embodiment of high quality work have given them the inspiration to take any music to the next level and their goal as J‐Ricz simply states, “If it doesn’t sound like you can hear this on the radio, it goes back in the lab ‘til it becomes one.”

Pas’sion; defined as a strong and dedicated feeling personified by actions.

In one word, Passion is the driving force that enables Carlo I. Ricafort to pursue his life long goal of sharing his talent for music. Recognized by his loyal fans as “J‐Ricz”, he has developed the skills that embody all successful musicians. Every “J‐Ricz” performance ensures quality and his trademark energy, composed of both exuberance and vivacity to guarantee a performance that everyone is sure to enjoy. As a Ballad and R&B artist his talents in music composition, vocal range, acting, and dance technique, differentiate him from other performers.

Post‐High school graduation, J‐Ricz formed a group comprised of four other members, notoriously known in the Bay Area as “Next Phaze”.

In 2003 the group introduced an EP album that redefined the foundation that created the original sounds and style of Next Phaze. Three years later their endless efforts paid off by releasing their first full‐length album, Back to the Mic. After 6 years of a life‐lasting brotherhood, the legacy of Next Phaze remains constant to their fans. As J‐Ricz begins his journey as a soloist he is commended on his contribution to the music community. Hisstrengths lie in the capacity to innovate and encourage those around him. It is clear to see that J‐Ricz is full of heart and soul. He is a self‐empowered individual that seeks the comfort of music as an outlet in life. J‐ricz’s experiences while with Next Phaze have been invaluable, instilling the importance of collaboration and dedication. Now focusing on his solo career, he worked on his debut album, Genesis, released in 2008, which marks the beginning of his own music as a soloist. Genesis featured the smooth blends that have helped him and his former group, Next Phaze, earn a fan base of over 10,000 people. His singles “My Everything,” “Do For You,” “Beautiful Life,” & “It’s All About You” showcased his songwriting which is built upon J‐ricz’s personal life. Genesis helped pave the way for an international success.

In 2009, Executive Producer Mr. Morio Kuwahara of Inpartmaint Inc., Japan made an exclusive 2 year agreement deal with the independent Introverse Records (under exclusive license from RAS Music Group and LunaCo. Company) artist J‐ricz on his first debut album Genesis. “Do For You” & “Beautiful Life” became one of the top sellers on itunes Japan alongside mainstream artists Ne‐Yo, Alicia Keys, & Jay Sean.

As he evolved in his music and himself as an artist, J‐ricz brought a new wave of vision and creativity when he took on the hot seat of producing, singing, & song‐writing the majority of his sophomore album Musicphiliac, now available on iTunes, CDbaby, & Ubetunes. J‐ricz’s passion and determination as an independent singer‐songwriter‐producer, a do it yourself kind of guy, puts him a cut above the competition. J‐Ricz believes, “It’s the passion for music and the drive to inspire others that really matters in the end.”

J‐ricz’s newest singles for 2011, “Go,” “Cry,” and “Love Affair” is now available on iTunes, CDbaby, & Ubetunes. J‐ricz have also teamed up with music video director Patricio Ginelsa

of Kidheroes Productions (director for Black Eyed Peas’ “The Apl Song” & “Bebot”) to bring a one of a kind R&B/Pop music video of his single “Love Affair” released last July 2010.

The midst of music started with Chris Dacoron at an age where he began to speak. As the years went by, the significance of his talent became more pronounced and achieved the attention of many. Not only did he have the voice and ear for music, he also gained the skills and technicality of professional studio equipment, which led to an opportunity of working at Sound Affairz Recording Studio in Los Angeles. Chris experienced an eight year journey with his former group, Next Phaze, and developed a sharper ear for music beyond the intimacy of the performing arts, but through the speakers. His ear for detail, professional equipment, recording speed, quality, and excellent work ethic with clients in the studio was noticed and has brought him variety of projects such as En Vogue and Trevor from O-Town. Currently, Chris Dacoron continues to work with upcoming artists and on music ranging from Pop, R&B, Electronica, and Hip-Hop. Other genres are still to come.
